The holidays may be an exciting and fun-filled time, but they can also be tough on our skin. Travel, parties (overindulging on sugar, alcohol, and larger-than-usual portions), and stress individually or in combination can contribute to the formation of blemishes and make the skin seem tired and dull. Skin is hydrated and plumped, and its appearance immediately enhanced, by a hyaluronic acid-based serum applied via a topical hyperbaric applicator that exerts high-pressure medical-grade oxygen and topical hyperbaric pressure.
The atoxelene serum infusion provides a topical alternative to anti-wrinkle injections without needles or pain. Atoxelene is a skin-smoothing complex that targets expression lines and wrinkles and assists in the prevention of new line and wrinkle formation. I'm pleased to offer my clients a new product: a highly effective, "smart" self-neutralizing peel that targets damaged skin cells. It's the Z-Peel by Actifirm, and it's a fantastic addition to my range of facial options.
The Z-Peel uses an enzyme derived from the Mucor Meihei mushroom. This enzyme, Actizyme 3M-M, works like skin’s own gentle and highly tuned mechanisms, knowing precisely what cells to treat and when to deactivate itself. This means the chances of under- or over-exfoliation are virtually eliminated. It also means that the redness, flaking, and photosensitivity that may follow other traditional peels is dramatically diminished.
